    John Bracy

    John Bracy is an internal martial art master with more than 45 years of full-time teaching and training in qigong (chi kung), Taoist yoga, taijiquan (Tai Chi) and baguazhang (Ba Gua). He is a formal lineage disciple of masters Yi Te-Kuen, of Taipei and the late Liu Xing-Han of Beijing.

    John began studying martial arts in 1967 at the age of twelve. He founded the Hsing Chen School of Internal Martial Arts in Orange County, California in 1976. He became a fifth generation lineage disciple of Ba Gua Zhang in 1988.

    He, with Master Liu Xing-Han, are authors of Ba Gua: Hidden Knowledge in the Taoist Internal Martial Art. North Atlantic Books, 1988.

    John works with select private clients and professional fighters, teaching Mixed Martial Arts, qigong, Taoist healing exercises, Ba Gua, Tai Chi and related subjects. He occasionally offers seminars at associated schools through the U.S.
